Preserve a Piece of History
Antique vehicles are often irreplaceable, and parts can be hard to find. A specialty antique policy is built around how these vehicles are actually used, kept and valued.
Maryland Historic Vehicles
Maryland requires vehicles with historic registration to be insured under a historic vehicle, vehicle show or antique vehicle policy. We set that up and explain the use limits.

Antique Vehicle Insurance FAQs
Straight answers to the questions antique vehicle owners ask us most.
What insurance does a Maryland historic vehicle need?
Maryland requires vehicles with historic registration to carry a historic vehicle, vehicle show or antique vehicle policy. We can quote one for you and help with proof of insurance for the MVA.
How can I use a vehicle with historic plates?
Maryland allows exhibitions, club activities, parades, tours and occasional transportation. Daily driving, commuting to work or school and commercial use are not allowed.
Do I need an appraisal?
For higher value vehicles, often yes. A recent appraisal, photos and receipts for restoration work help set the right agreed value.
